Genshin Impact: Jueyun Chili Locations and Jueyun Chili Farming Easy Tips

Unlike other regional delicacies in the open world RPG, Genshin Impact Juyeun Chili can be a bit more difficult to track down.

There are only two locations in Liyue where you can find Jueyun Chili, and it will be quite some time before you reach either of them.

However, once you have a small number and acquire the Serenitea Pot, you can grow your own and help compensate for the delays back in the regular world.

Why would you use Jueyun Chili?

Several Liyue dishes feature the ascension material Jueyun Chili, and the spice also appears on its own. Even if you don’t use Xiangling or Yaoyao, you should still keep a supply of the peppers around because they are used in so many other dishes in Liyue cuisine.

In eastern Liyue, close to the mountain pass southwest of Dawn Winery, you’ll find the first batch of chillis. There is no obvious landmark close by, so you’ll have to walk a way to collect these. The nice thing is that even in areas where there aren’t many plants, you still get quite a few because each chilli plant has multiple peppers.

It’s tempting to head straight for the main story quest marker in the southeast corner of Liyue as soon as you arrive.

Qingce Village, on the other hand, can be found in the northwestern part of Liyue, west of Wuwang hill, and roughly on the same level as the Dawn Winery in the Mondstadt region.

You’ll find a teleport waypoint on the eastern side of town as you travel through these mountains.

A set of stone stairs cut into the slope of the hill provide access to the teleporter.

The three Jueyun Chilis you’ll need to level up your character are conveniently clustered together on the side of the road next to these stairs.

However, if you don’t want to go hunting for them in the wild, I’ve learned that the food vendor in Liyue Harbor sells Jueyun Chili.

This isn’t the guy up the street selling grilled tiger fish, but rather the guy selling a variety of kitchen gadgets.

Growing Advice for Jueyun Chili

The first batch of chillis can’t be reached without some sort of ascent. Reach the cliffs to the east of the pass’s waypoint.

The sprint up Qingce Peak will require a little more time. It is best to begin at the Juyeun Karst waypoint and travel north along the path until you reach the fork that will take you to the northeast. Gather the chilies here, then teleport to the northeastern waypoint and grab the oddball there.

The next batch can be obtained with much less exertion if you warp to Mount Aocang and glide eastward. Return to Mount Aocang and glide south to the lake; the chillis are hiding in the bushes near the water’s edge.

Once you make it to Inazuma and earn enough respect there, you’ll be able to purchase the Seed Dispensary tool. Use it to collect seeds along with Juyun Chilis during harvesting, then transport them to the Serenitea Pot for sowing in the Luxuriant Glebe.
