Genshin Impact: 10 Side Quests to Do Right Away When Your Adventure Begins

When you first start playing Genshin Impact, the world can seem like a lot to handle. You just need to do some basic side quests to improve your basic fighting training. There are now three areas to play in, including Dragonspine, and almost 30 characters to choose from.

Even though some people are still talking about Mondstadt, most players are focusing on Dragonspines and the upcoming Inazuma region. There are a lot of things that new players can do to quickly catch up to more experienced players within a few weeks.

10 Side Quests to Do Right Away When Your Adventure Begins

Getting world quests is one of the most important things to do early on in the game. These side missions are a great way to get important levelling up materials and primogems for Gatch pulls.

As soon as you walk up to Mondstadt, you can learn about the art of cooking. To start, talk to Lynn, who is camped out with a cooking pot at the end of the city’s bridge. She will give you the ingredients for a recipe and then tell you how to make food. If you do this, you’ll get the following:

• 125 Adventurer Rank Experience
• 5 Mushroom
• 10 Fowl
• 5 Wheat
• 5 Bird Eggs
• 25,000 Mora

Food is how you heal, resurrect, and improve your characters during the game.

This is an important quest that players shouldn’t skip over. When you start a quest in Mondstadt, you will always get a sigil. In town, there is a jeweler who will trade sigils for materials to help you level up, mora, and materials to build weapons. Her name is Marjorie, and she is right next to the receptionist at the Adventurer’s Guild.

Even though this doesn’t unlock at rank nine, most players will get to this level in just one day.

This quest is in Dadaupe Gorge, which is in Mondstadt and has a graveyard for swords. There are three Hilichurl camps near the graveyard that the player must destroy. This is a short quest that doesn’t involve fighting. Go to the flower shop near Mondstadt’s main entrance. It is across from the fruit stands. Talk to the little girl named Flora. She will ask you to pick a few flowers for the shop in exchange for:

After that, the pots in front of Flora will also be full of flowers.

Even though it takes some work to get this quest, it is one of the best ones that fresh players can get in Mondstadt. After the player does a job for Viktor in the church called “Tales of Winter,” he will send them on a series of easy tasks. When players finish them, they’ll get:
